Every girl faces periods in every 28 days. The ovaries, which are present in the lower part of women’s abdomen; start to produce hormones in girls around puberty which cause changes to the lining of the uterus. Every month during periods, the lining of the womb is shed along with some blood. Periods could be really painful for some ladies, bringing along with it severe cramps, back pain, bloating, etc. The length of menstrual cycle is usually 28 days which is measured as the time between the start of one period and the start of the next. If this time of 28 days exceeds for more than a week then it can be problematic. As then the issue of irregular periods comes into existence hence, they bring up several pains and weakness. Unripe papaya is helpful in regularizing the periods as it helps contract muscle fibers in the uterus. Drink a glass of unripe papaya juice regularly for few months to get rid of irregular periods. Never drink the juice at the time of periods as it can be harmful for your health at that time.
The warming properties of turmeric are really helpful in controlling the hormonal imbalance of the body. This further helps in regulating the menstrual cycle. Also its anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic properties reduce the muscle cramping. Take one fourth teaspoon of turmeric powder and add it to lukewarm milk. Drink it daily, until you find that your periods are occurring regularly.
Do not stress. One of the most common reasons of menstrual irregularities is stress. Take ample amount of sleep at night and adequate rest whenever required. Enjoy a good mood throughout the day. Follow stress reliving methods like meditation and yoga.
Carrots are the good source of iron and regulate proper functioning of the hormone. Drink a glass of plain carrot juice regularly up to few months to normalize the irregular menstruation cycle.
Cinnamon. Take a ½ teaspoon of cinnamon powder and add it to a glass of milk. Drink this daily for a couple of weeks. The warming effect of cinnamon reduces menstrual cramps, and its hydroxychalcone element helps regulate the insulin levels.
Grapes are also considered useful for regularizing irregular periods. Drinking grape juice regularly makes a tasty remedy for irregular periods. Also, consuming raw grapes can help you with your diet too. However, excessive consumption of grapes is not good as it can cause lose motions and sometimes cough too.
Parsley. Parsley juice is considered as one of the most effective home remedies for menstruation-related problems. Drinking parsley juice will leave you with regular periods without making you contact your doctor for harsh medicines. Grind some parsley in a blender. Add water as per the requirement. Drink this juice regularly and see the good results.
