Everyone dreams of healthy, long and shiny hairs. But in today’s environmental conditions it seems like a lay man’s dream. But there are several ingredients found in our house that can help prevent hair fall.
There may be several factors that affect growth of hair and make them rough and cause hair fall. Some on them are increased pollution, genes, iron deficiency, thyroid disorders, pregnancy, stress, excessive smoking, nutritional deficiency, harmful chemicals, harsh hair care products, etc.
Here are some simple home remedies for hair fall which is found to be providing excellent results to the users.

Simple Home Remedies for Hair Fall: –


Coconut has several healthy benefits for your hair. It does promote hair growth and moisturizes the scalp. Apply coconut oil on your scalp and then cover your head with a towel for half an hour. And rinse with a mild shampoo. Either, you can also apply lukewarm oil on your hairs and roots at night and then shampoo it in the next morning.


Also known as methi, the Fenugreek is highly effective in treating hair loss. Fenugreek seeds contain some useful proteins that help rebuild hair follicles and moisturize the scalp. Soak one cup of fenugreek seeds in water overnight. In the morning, make a paste of it and apply this paste on your hair and cover with a towel so that it does not dry. Leave it there for ½ hour and then rinse of your hairs nicely. Do not use any shampoo. Practice this twice a week to see good results.

Sour curd.

Curd is one of the most effective home remedies for hair loss. It helps to get soft, smooth and shiny hairs. Take curd and honey in the ratio 2:1 and apply paste on your scalp and leave it on for an hour. Then wash your hairs with a mild shampoo. Do this regularly twice a week for few months. You’ll see that you have grown thick, shiny, and healthy hairs.

Onion Juice.

The Onion juice has high sulfur content, which helps improve blood circulation to the hair follicles which in turn results in hair growth. Onion also has anti-bacterial properties that help kill germs and parasites, and treat scalp infections that can cause dandruff, and hair loss. Apply onion juice on the scalp by grinding a fresh onion. Leave it on for half an hour and then wash your hairs nicely with a shampoo.


Amla is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants that strengthen hair follicles, and trigger hair growth. Drinking amla juice regularly is a good healthy habit for your hairs. You can apply amla juice on your hairs too. Take fresh amla juice and squeeze few drops of lemon juice in it. Leave it for 30 min. and then wash your hairs nicely.

Aloe Vera.

Aloe vera promotes healthy hair growth due to its anti-inflammatory properties. Also, it helps balancing scalp’s pH, which can greatly promote hair growth. Apply aloe vera gel on your scalp and leave it there for an hour. Then wash your hairs nicely. Note that before applying the gel make sure that your hairs are clean. Regular use of aloe vera will make your hairs soft and shiny. It will give volume to your hairs and prevent any further hair fall problems.
